Ken Burns on "Central Park Five"

Today on America Weekend, I spoke with Ken Burns, who has been responsible for some of our best documentaries in the last 25 years on subjects like baseball, the Civil War, and our national parks. His latest project is "Central Park Five," which will air Tuesday night on PBS. It chronicles the infamous Central Park Jogger case of 1989, with first-person stories from the five black and Latino teens who were wrongly convicted of raping a white woman. In our conversation, Ken passionately explains the miscarriage of justice that upended the lives of those boys-turned-men.
