We supported the James Randi documentary "An Honest Liar" via Kickstarter and just got a chance to see the finished film. Directors Tyler Measom and Justin Weinstein did a very good job touching on many aspects of Randi's remarkable career as a magician and skeptic, including some footage from his early days as a performer and several major hoaxes he pulled off, as well as the story of a deception including his partner that nearly tore them apart. The film has been shown at several festivals, where it's won a bunch of awards, and will be in theaters in March. I'll write more about it as we get closer to its general release, but here's the trailer...
